Marketing Events Promotions Director

The position encompasses all facets of the radio business – on-air, online, and on-site.

 

As Marketing, Events, & Promotions Director you will be responsible for:

 

·         Working with station Program Directors to plan, schedule, and execute station contests, promotions, and events.

·         Involved with pre-planning and on-site management for each station event, including contact with vendors, customers, co-workers, municipalities and other partners.

·         Manage an event’s proper execution, from the tiniest detail to the largest.

·         You will be the communications liaison for our team by drafting press materials, updating event listings, and contacting freelance reporters and media outlets regarding our events.

·         Maintaining and scheduling aspects of station social media.

·         Manage remote techs and interns, order/manage promotional materials, availability to work nights and weekends if there’s an event.

·         Making sure the listener experience at live broadcasts & events is a memorable one!

·         Multi-tasking, being highly organized, effectively communicating, and being creative.
