Federated Media is seeking a highly talented and dynamic Production Director to join our team. Responsible for the overall sound, grammar, and FCC compliance of commercials on all our radio stations (on-air & on-line) in Fort Wayne & South Bend:

• Write, Voice, produce, mix and load Production Orders from the Sales team, which includes commercials, promos, and other on-air content as required by Sales and management – and making changes to content as needed.
• Assign talent scripts to voice (making sure it’s spread out among all our talent in both markets).
• Ensure all spots are produced and sent to Sales and Clients for review in advance of airings.
• Overseeing studios and calendars of recording times and working with the Program Directors and Engineers to ensure studios are operating in satisfactory condition and escalating any needed repairs.
• Ensuring all live read copy is up to date and ensuring local hosts have the most recent copy.
• Are available to record, edit and load client’s commercials and podcasts.
• Comfortable dealing with Talent – both Professional and Amateur, and teaching them radio fundamentals if first time host, and coaching them through recording sessions.

Requirements:

• minimum 2 years production experience
• Advanced knowledge of Audio Editing tools, such as, Adobe Audition, ProTools, etc
• Has strong Work Intensity, positivity, focus, Responsibility, and Adaptability
