JOHN DILLE III - Chief Executive Officer

Born in Chicago, Dille began his career as a copy boy for The Washington Post. He continued as a newspaper reporter for Thomson Newspapers, Ltd., with assignments in England, Scotland, and Wales; The Mishawaka Times (Indiana), and The Elkhart Truth before moving into broadcasting. Dille is president of Federated Media, a 12 station radio group with stations in Indiana and Michigan. He majored in history and government at Colby College, Waterville, Maine, and received an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, graduated OCS, and attended the Airborne School, and was attached to the 101st Airborne Division.He commanded a 105mm Howitzer Battery before leaving the service at the rank of Captain.

Active in industry affairs, he is past chairman of the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) and past chairman of National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Radio Board. He also chaired the National Association of Broadcasters/National Radio Broadcasters Association Unification Task Force and is a member of the National Association of Broadcasters/Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) Futures Committee, former chairman of the NAB Congressional Relations Committee, and is on the Board of Directors of the RAB and is a past chairman

He is on the negotiating committee of the Radio Music Licensing Committee which deals with ASCAP and BMI. He has also been a director and president of Indiana Broadcasters Association and is chairman of the Legislative Liaison Committee (LLC) program, director and first vice president of Michiana Public Telecasting, and chairman of the Indiana LLC. He was president of the Elkhart Conference, director of the Elkhart Chamber of Commerce, a director of the KeyBank of Elkhart, and is a former director of Elcona Country Club. He plays tennis and hockey. He and his wife, Anne, have three children.

TONY RICHARDS - Chief Operating Officer

Tony is a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana.  He graduated from North Side High School in 1978. 

He attended IPFW and completed the National Association of Broadcasters Executive Business Program, and the Executive Integral Leadership Programs at the University of Notre Dame.  He is also a certified trainer in Situational Leadership.  Tony is married to wife Leann and has four children.

At the young age of 13, he and his friends had a small pirate station in his basement and has been in radio professionally since 1976. 

He joined Federated Media in 1978 part time doing “all the shifts at least once.”  In March 1984 he was promoted to Program Director of WMEE (CHR).  He helped take the station to number one status where it stayed until he left the air in 1991. 

Tony was also one of “Those 2 guys in the Morning” on WMEE with Charly Butcher.  They achieved the highest ratings in Fort Wayne radio history.  One half the people in the Fort Wayne area listened to their show every morning.  Those 2 Guys in the Morning also achieved the highest average quarter hour share in the United States in 1987. 

In September of 1991 Tony left the morning show and was named General Manager of WMEE and WKJG.

In January of 2000, Tony became the Chief Operating Officer of Federated Media that operates 17 radio stations in Fort Wayne, South Bend, and Northern Indiana.

Tony enjoys being active in the community, working, playing golf, baseball, and hockey.

JEFF LADERER- Chief Financial Officer

Jeff Laderer has been with Federated Media since 1999 as Controller of The Truth and manager of its Business Office.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and graduate of Indiana University.  

His past professional experiences include financial audit and software implementation consulting with Crowe Chizek and Company as well as administrative and marketing positions with Madison Center in South Bend.

Jeff currently lives in South Bend with his wife Colleen and two daughters, Meredith and Caroline.  He coaches softball at Chet Waggoner Little League and is also a member of the school board of Corpus Christi School in South Bend.  In his spare time he enjoys reading and spending time with his family at Lake Michigan.

NANCY BOEHM - Human Resources Director

Born and raised in Muncie, Indiana, Boehm attended IUSB and received her Professional in Human Resources certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in Alexandria, VA. 

Nancy began her Human Resources career at Saint Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, IN.  She then spent 14 years in the broadcasting industry as Director of Human Resources for WNDU-TV & Radio in South Bend, IN.

Nancy joined Federated Media in October 2002 as Director of Human Resources, the position she currently holds.

She is Past President of the Michiana Chapter of SHRM and served at the national level on the Board of Directors of the Media Human Resources Association, a division of SHRM.

 Nancy and her husband, Paul, live in Edwardsburg, MI and have two daughters and three grandsons.  They enjoy boating, antiquing and spending time with their family.

JIM ALLGEIER - General Manager Ft. Wayne North

Jim was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  After graduating from Bishop Dwenger High School in 1981, Jim attended the University of Dayton to major in Management and play soccer for the Flyers.  Jim began his career after school and soccer with Burkhart Advertising, Inc., as an account executive, then moved on to become Sales Manager and then Vice-President/ General Manager before leaving in 1996.
          
In 1996 he purchased the former Fort Wayne Poster Company, which he owned until he sold it in 2001.  In 1998, Jim also took on a position with Adams Outdoor Advertising, Inc., in Lansing, Michigan.  Jim left there in 2002 as General Manager to become the General Manager at Federated Media North (WBYR, WFWI and WFJZ).

Jim and his wife Terri have been married 22 years and have three children, Margaret (20), Sally (17) and Patrick (12). 
           
Jim’s hobbies are all sports (especially soccer and golf) and enjoying his time with his family, which is usually on a field or court of some type watching his kids play the sport of the season.

MARK DePREZ - Chief Operating Officer - Pathfinder Communications

Mark DePrez, a graduate of the University of Dayton, joined Federated Media in October of 1994 as General Sales Manager of WOWO radio.  Previous to Fort Wayne, DePrez held sales and management positions in Dayton, Boston and Cincinnati, Ohio.  Ultimately, becoming General Sales Manager of WKRC radio in Cincinnati.

Since joining Federated in 1994 DePrez has been promoted to Director of Sales, Station Manager, General Manager and his current role of  Chief Operating Officer, Pathfinder Communications Inc.

DePrez currently sits on various boards including: 

• World Baseball Academy, Board of Directors
• National Association of Farm Broadcasters (NAFB), Management and Sales Council National Board Representative
• Indiana Broadcasters Association (IBA) Current Third Congressional District Representative board member.

DePrez and wife Mary have three children, Samantha, Mark and Michael and love raising their family in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Mary is the National Sales Manager of the Federated Media, Fort Wayne, six station radio cluster.  Samantha resides in Nashville, TN and is Promotions Coordinator for Curb Records.  Mark is a senior Economics Major at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, IN.  Michael is a junior at Bishop Dwenger High School.

BRAD WILLIAMS - General Manager South Bend

Brad was born in Mishawaka, Indiana in 1965. He graduated from Concord High School in 1983.  While attending Manchester College, Brad became an intern at WTRC-AM Radio in Elkhart where his official title was “gopher”.  From making the coffee, to painting the transmitter building, to making sales calls, his fellow Fed Med associate and boss at the time, Dick Rhodes would say his educational experience was “very broad”!  After graduating in 1987 with a BS in Marketing from Manchester, Brad worked as an Account Executive for WTRC, becoming the General Sales Manager just 3 short years later.

In 1995, Brad was promoted to General Sales Manager of WBYT and WRBR in South Bend, IN.  In 2000 Brad was appointed to the position of General Manager of all the Federated Media properties in South Bend, where he currently is involved in the leadership of  5 stations including WBYT, WTRC FM/AM, WLEG, and WNIL.

In addition to earning his MRM, Master of Radio Marketing, Brad has completed numerous academic and business courses from the Radio Advertising Bureau and the University of Notre Dame.

His Charitable involvement includes St Judes Children’s Hospital as well as trying to participate in every local charity golf outing.

Brad and his wife Debbie live on Long Lake in Union Michigan, where they enjoy spending time with their blended family of 6 children: Taylor, Evan, Bailey, Kennedy, Olivia and Ian. Favorite activities include: golfing, boating, water skiing, snow skiing, kayaking, fishing, pheasant hunting and Kansas City Chiefs Football!

Brad’s favorite quote is “this is radio, we can do anything!” which he tries to prove daily!

JACK DIDIER - Director of Engineering

Jack was born in 1958 in Fort Wayne, Indiana and knew at a very early age he wanted to become a broadcast engineer. In 1969 his father brought home a crystal radio set shaped like a space capsule that ignited his interest in radio. In 1973 he built an FM radio station in the basement of his parents' home.

Jack began his career as a part-time board operator in 1976 at WLKI in Angola, Indiana. He graduated from Northside High School in 1977 and from there he spent several years on the air at WXKE in Fort Wayne while pursuing his dream of becoming an engineer.

In 1979 he earned an FCC First Class License. He graduated with a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute in 1981.

In 1983 he started Broadcast Circuit Systems an independent Contract Engineering Company.
           


In 1992 he and several former radio colleagues started Premiere Broadcasting Company. In 1997 he began working with Federated Media.

Jack and his wife Betsy reside at their lake home near Columbia City, Indiana and enjoy spending time on the lake and traveling.

JAMES DERBY - Chief Strategy Officer

James was born in San Francisco, CA and raised in Eugene, Oregon.  It was at South Eugene High School that he first entered into the field of radio at the age of 15 broadcasting football and basketball play by play for the “Axemen”. 

James was hired out of college by KUIK-AM in Portland, OR as a news reporter, promoted to News Director and soon thereafter Program Director.  He joined Newsradio 750 KXL-AM in 1999 as their Program Director and headed a start-up regional radio network (The Radio Northwest Network) that eventually grew to 17 affilaite stations in the northwest.  He assumed dual PD duties in 2008 for Sportsradio 95.5 KXTG-FM (sports talk) and KXL-AM.  Derby was named one of Radio Ink Magazine’s 2009 Best Programmers.  He joined Federated Media in October of 2009 as Director of Integrated Media.   

James resides in Granger with his wife Jodi, and 4 children Ethan, Ava, Jackson and Monica.  For fun he enjoys attending NASCAR and Indy racing, college and NFL football games and playing with the kids in the backyard and park.

WOODY ZIMMERMAN- General Manager WFGA Auburn

Born in Fort Wayne, Woody Zimmerman knew at an early age his life would revolve around music.  At age 5, he simulated playing the drums by using old coffee cans.  He worked odd jobs to get his first drum set when he was 13.  Woody graduated from South Side High School in 1990, and continued his education at Indiana-Purdue University in Fort Wayne where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communications- Radio/TV.  In 1992, he worked as an intern, and landed his first on-air gig at WXKE (Rock).

Woody made the switch to Federated Media in 1994 when he went to work weekends at WMEE (Hot AC).  Two years later, he started full time on WBYR (Active Rock) as the night time jock, and eventually mid-days.  Woody transitioned to WFWI (Classic Rock) in 2004 as Assistant Program Director.

In 2005, as Program Director, he launched WFGA Froggy 106.7 (Hot AC) in Auburn.   In 2008, he gained additional duties as he became General Manager.

Woody has won several corporate awards including “Personality of the Year” – 2005, “Program Director of the Year” – 2007 and “Sales Manager of the Year” – 2009.

Woody has been happily married to Allison for more than 15 years and they have two children, Olivia, 8, and Owen, 6.  And he still likes to bang on those coffee cans…uh drums from time to time.

CLINT MARSH - General Manager Warsaw

Clint Marsh is a 28 year radio veteran spending the majority of that time as an On Air Personality and Program Director.  Clint joined Federated Media in 2004 as Program Director / Afternoon Personality for WBYT in South Bend where he was later promoted to Operations Manager.  He was promoted to General Manager of WRSW-FM, WRSW-AM and WAWC-FM in Warsaw in 2008.

Clint’s career includes stints in Portland Maine, Champaign Illinois, Columbus Indiana, and Chicago Illinois where he spent three years as the Midwest Promotions Manager for Columbia Records.

Clint’s wife Lorie is a Program Manager at the University of Notre Dame, they have two children, and live in Granger, Indiana.

KEVIN MUSSELMAN - General Manager WLEG Goshen

Kevin was born in Topeka, KS. In 1962. He graduated from Hayden High School in 1980 also located in Topeka. While attending Kansas State University in 1981 Kevin entered the commercial airline industry which took him to locations in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and finally to South Bend, Indiana. During his 14 years in the industry Kevin held positions as Senior Agent, Ramp Supervisor, Hub Supervisor and Station Manager.

Because of the “turbulence” of the industry in the mid 1990’s Kevin decided to leave the business in 1995 and was hired as the Regional Manager of a civilian owned military transportation company. Kevin was part of this company for the next 5 years.  In 2000, again, because of “turbulence” this time involving the U.S. government and its continual budget issues, he decided to accept a position with a full service advertising and promotion company. He held the position of Corporate Director and was based in Mishawaka, Indiana.  After 7 years with the agency he accepted a position with Federated Media as Station Manager/General Sales Manager for Froggy 102.7 in Elkhart, Indiana.

In January of 2011 he was promoted to General Manager in which is his current position with Federated Media. Kevin and his team recently relocated Froggy 102.7 into brand new studios in Goshen, IN.

Kevin loves all sorts of activities including being a licensed private pilot and spending as much time as possible riding his Harley. Kevin also sets on the Board of Directors of United Cancer Services of Elkhart County and volunteers at many other events. Kevin is a resident of Granger, Indiana
